About Future Cast

Future Cast is an Innovation, Education, and R&D centre focussed on the Construction and Quarrying industries. We work with companies in these sectors and throughout their manufacturing supply chains on projects to increase the adoption of advanced technology and processes. We are a non-profit organisation with a remit to research and disseminate technologies in Industry 4.0 to our member companies. We help solve pressing issues with our accumulated knowledge and expertise in industries automation, innovation, and funding.

About Women in BIM

Women in BIM are a not for profit initiative aimed at supporting and growing the number of women in BIM and digital related roles. Our key objectives are to enable a future construction industry where diversity is no longer an issue. Our work focuses on drawing young women into BIM & Digital related careers, helping to support women working on BIM projects today, and championing and drawing visibility to female leaders in the BIM space in order to grow a more diverse industry. Now in our 10th year we have members and regional representation located all over the world driving this agenda. Our database of women who work in BIM and digital are aimed to support industry events in enabling more female representation. We also aim to provide information and practical advice to support industry and government address diversity issues and how this can support the digitisation of the construction industry. 







About CitA

CitA was established as a research project in DIT Bolton St. in association with Waterford IT in May 2001, with the vision of harnessing the potential of ICT in the Irish Construction Industry. CitA was formally incorporated into a company limited by guarantee with no share capital in November 2005.
Membership of CITA is open to all stakeholders in the Irish Construction Industry (Architecture, Engineering, Construction, Operations – AECO)
In addition to attracting a large number of subscribing members, CitA has achieved a lot since its inception in 2001. Since 2008, CitA has secured annual funding from Enterprise Ireland and Skillnet Ireland for its networking and training programmes. The Alliance works closely with professional bodies and representative organisations of the AECO Sector including at high profile events: CitA BIM Gathering in 2013, 2015 & 2017, the CitA Smart Collaboration Challenge in 2014, the BIM Innovations Awards in 2016, and CitA Tech Live in 2018.
